The successful applicant will manage, run and deliver compliance assurance initiatives across the business. Offering an end to end service across all business areas and divisions within the Standard Life Group - on a global level. Building a strategic plan and communicating relevant information to the appropriate business areas, you will lead, influence and mentor staff at all levels.
You will have an in depth knowledge of risk and compliance, with specific proven expertise working at a managerial level. A significant track record and experience in an internal or external monitoring, risk management oversight or compliance oversight function, with a detailed understanding and practical experience of operational risk and/or compliance operating environments and principles.
You will have first rate analytical skills, with the ability to manage large scale projects over multiple business areas and geographic locations. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal, as well as proven influencing skills with the ability to influence and challenge credibly at senior level are of paramount importance.
