Job Purpose: Manager responsible for oversight of the Global SPV Portfolio within the Financial Institutions Risk Management Group ("FIRM") Job Background/context: The Global SPV Portfolio consists of CDO/CLO transactions, Repackaged Notes and other bespoke structured transactions. It requires the on-going monitoring and management of structured transactions. Key Responsibilities: • Manage a global team involved in the review and analysis of structured transactions • The overall team is responsible for the analysis and assessment of risks in transactions, structure them to mitigate risks and approve or recommend approval. • Act as a focal point for the Business into the Risk Organization • Monitor industry, product and macro economic developments and assess impact on portfolio. • Interact with Regulators • Ad hoc projects Development Value: • Exposure to a number of Businesses as well as Senior Risk Management • An ability to manage a global team Knowlegde/Experience: Candidate must have solid credit experience and a good knowledge of structured credit products and related derivatives/capital market products and industry infrastructure. Good understanding of ISDA and other trading agreements is beneficial. Skills: • Capital markets experience with special emphasis on structured credit products and structured transactions specifically on a non-recourse basis where the risk remains inherent in the structure. • Strong analytical skills and ability to decompose transactions into the core risks. Good quantitative skills a plus. • Sound Risk and Business judgment on the full spectrum of risk issues including Operational and Franchise Risk Qualifications: • University Degree/ Graduate Degree in Business • Finance or Economicsor equivalent is a plus Competencies: • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills • Self-motivated • Demonstrate integrity and sound/ independent credit judgment • Good communication skills • Ability to multitask, good time management skills
