Job Description

Role / Responsibilities / Key objectives

  • Responsible for the 24x7 management of one of two global Infrastructure Command Centre, supporting infrastructure in all regions (Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific) in a follow the sun support model.
  • Insure stable and sound infrastructure services, while providing delivery of mission critical services to client base within documented Operating and Service Level Agreements.
  • Provide risk management and operational coordination for application releases, infrastructure changes, unexpected market conditions, and business initiatives.
  • Manage cost effective absorption of additional monitoring and control tasks resulting from M&A (Merger and Acquisitions) or organizational consolidations and changes. Direct and manage day to day functions of Data Center Monitoring and Control.
  • Direct and manage day to day functions of Infrastructure Monitoring and Event Management, within an ITIL framework.
  • Interface with all levels of management throughout the corporation in establishing and providing these services.
  • Ensure that the Monitoring & Event Command Center Operations is staffed appropriately with skilled personnel to ensure the timely delivery of services to Bank of America and its customers.
  • Manage critical production problems including those significantly impacting internal operations or external customer experience to full resolution and maintaining open communications with impacted parties during remediation. This will be accomplished through partnership with Incident & Triage management and business aligned technology groups.

Requirements

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum 12 years information technology processing experience in a large scale multi-platform environment.
  • Minimum 10 years information technology management experience in a large scale multi-platform environment.
  • Exceptional knowledge of large scale, complex, mainframe infrastructures and operations.
  • Core knowledge of large scale complex distributed infrastructures and processing. Thorough knowledge of TWS, ticketing systems, MVS, JES, CICS, mainframe automation, VTAM, AUTOSYS, Tandem, OMNIBUS, and other data center technologies.
  • Excellent soft skills are required in leadership, teamwork, and teambuilding; written and oral communication/presentation, decision-making, risk assessment/management and crisis management.
  • Proven ability to lead a large staff across diverse technologies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Effective understanding of banking/brokerage business processing.
  • Positive thinker, strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and build teams
    Strong diversity focus

Desired Skills:

  • University degree or equivalent
  • ITIL certifications a plus.
  • Previous experience in financial firm, performing similar function

Shift:
12hrs shift, 3 times a week any weekday. 24*7
