Due to business growth, SVP is required to support the origination and execution by playing a significant role in financial transactions including public debt and equity offerings to private placements, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, financial restructurings, exclusive sales and takeover defences.

Responsibilities

Handling transaction execution projects, demonstrating specialized transactions skills, such as the placement of public and private debt and equity securities, as well as the ability to manage a range of non-standard assignments

Assessing the financial issues and options concerning proposed transactions, analysing the assumptions used in the projections underlying proposed transactions.

Designing and running leveraged buyout and recapitalization models

Undertaking detailed financial modelling and analysis.

Drafting securities placements, offering memoranda and company reports

Valuing a Company’s assets or operations, provided that any real property or fixed asset valuations needed would be undertaken by third party appraisers or asset valuation experts.

Assessing the financial issues and options concerning any proposed Transaction, analysing the assumptions used in the projections underlying proposed Transactions and assisting the Sponsor and the Company with the design of alternative Transaction structures.

Meeting with senior managers of prospective client companies to develop new business

Responding to client enquiries, prepare supporting analyses for negotiations

Driving the transaction process forward, managing information to and from clients and at all times managing client expectations throughout the transaction

Preparing supporting strategic and financial analyses for Managing Directors' negotiations and being the go-to banker for clients

Managing junior bankers on projects, pitches and general prestataions (Associates and Analysts) in day to day tasks and projects

Supporting Senior Bankers in managing the team

Attending and participating in external speaking engagements

Driving sales and marketing initiatives and identifying and qualifying business opportunities

Working closely with International and US counterparties within Investment Banking

Skills and qualifications required for UK position

Education to a degree level ideally with a Masters;

In-depth knowledge of and management experience gained in M&A and Capital Markets Investment Banking;
