The main purpose of the Credit Risk Appetite and Control Manager is to manage the credit risk appetite and control framework for the bank. The key responsibilities of the role include:

• Provide support to the Head of Credit Risk Appetite & Control in the development and implementation of credit risk policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with the bank’s Credit Risk appetite.

• Manage the credit control framework, ensuring that the global credit control framework is effective in both design and operation, minimising the number of avoidable credit losses incurred.

• Oversight of credit procedures and process guidelines for core segments, ensuring they provide a robust control environment and effective delivery of credit to clients.

• Assist the Head of Credit Risk Appetite & Control to providing leadership and direction for the credit risk appetite of  the bank, through regular interaction with all areas of the business and assessment / understanding of all new products and business areas.
