Our client is a tier one investment bank which is widely regarded as an employer of choice. They are looking to hire an exceptionally talented product controller, with knowledge of equities products, to play a key role in their Finance Change Management function. This is an excellent opportunity to move out of a line product control role and develop your career with a leading, global investment bank.
You will be involved in major projects across Asia Pacific, supporting global initiatives to re-engineer the finance systems and change the landscape of the product control processes. Given the focus of the project, you will be specifically supporting the equities business. You will be responsible for the development of the project strategy; identifying & liaising with key stakeholders throughout the region; creatively problem solving; monitoring the progress and driving the completion of the projects.
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years relevant experience
Essential to have a minimum of 3 years experience within product control/middle office
Strong working knowledge of equities products
Prior experience within a Big 4/Consulting environment would be desirable
Professionally qualified with CPA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA
Other finance qualification such as MBA or Prince2/PMI would be desirable
Strong understanding of front to back investment banking processes
Experience participating in project work would be desirable
Ability to gain immediate credibility with senior management is essential
