Job description KCM’s Institutional Clients team is responsible for acquiring new clients and maintaining contacts with pension funds, insurance companies and consultants in the Netherlands and other countries. It also focuses on charities and third-party distributors for its products in the Netherlands. The department works out of Amsterdam and Zürich and currently comprises 16 employees. As part of KCM’s ambition to expand further outside the Netherlands over the next few years, we are looking both for a Senior Sales Account Manager for the Scandinavian market and a Senior Sales Account Manager for the rest of Europe (ex-NL and the UK). The positions will initially be based in Amsterdam. The ideal candidates have institutional networks and institutional asset management sales experience in Scandinavia and/or the rest of Europe. We seek people who enjoy working in a professional organisation with short hierarchical lines and who attach importance to being able to make a substantial contribution (to make a difference). They will be expected to operate independently and in their capacity as senior, professional representatives be able to promote and sell KCM (and its products) to pension funds and insurance companies. Who are we looking for? - Innovative, ambitious, pro-active and result-oriented team players;
- Excellent analytical and communication skills;
- Graduates (e.g. in business economics) with above-average grades;
- Preferably 5-10 years’ institutional (sales) experience;
- Knowledge of how to get people on board;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, good command of German and French (and Swedish) is a plus.
