Global Finance Technology (GFT) builds and supports the firm's financial infrastructure to ensure Finance professionals have access to the tools and information necessary to drive success. In partnership with Global Finance Operations, Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) and others, we deliver solutions that meet the requirements of our key clients. GFT provides technology support for general ledger, profitability, cost allocations, treasury, accounts payable, reference data, project accounting and fixed assets while offering plan and build support for reporting tools.

As Business/Data Analyst, you will fill a key role in GFT in support of the Asia Regulatory Program. The role includes detailed analyses of business processes, data sourcing/management & design, systems use cases/test case documentation. The Systems Analyst will outline and iterate solutions to support client needs. This role requires significant client interaction and understanding of Finance taxonomy. In addition responsibilities include system test execution, artifact documentation throughout all phases of PLC. The ideal candidate will possess analytical skills and a keen sense for detail, with a background in finance/regulatory reporting. You will also be responsible for providing support and a functional contact point, for technical team resources. Any experience with regulatory reporting implementation/understanding regulatory guidelines with APAC locations a big plus.

  • 6-8 years IT experience
  • Solid understanding of wholesale banking products
  • Construct business logic to meet end-user requirements
  • Effort estimation/scope management, artifact development
  • Strong skills in time management, problem solving, and the ability to work both independently and as a team member are critical to success.
  • Excellent communication coupled with strong presentation skills
  • Demonstrated working group leadership
  • Proven client/stakeholder relationship management skills
  • Quality and astute attention to detail
  • Translate end-user data and report requirements to system requirements.
  • Identify appropriate data sources and coordinate data feed from external sources
  • Analyze and evaluate system data integrity
  • Technical skills to assist data analysis & design
  • Validate incoming and outgoing data files
  • Serves as liaison between technical and non-technical positions
  • SDLC structured process experience (e.g. CMM, DMAIIC)
  • Experience working within quality guidelines, standards and procedures and tools
  • Expertise in ETL, data warehousing and business intelligence solutions; and good understanding of technology infrastructure
  • Experience in financial services industry, preferably exposure to regulatory applications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals, departments and organizations
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities

  • PL/SQL
  • BI tool - eg. Business Objects/Crystal Reports, Oracle, Essbase
