Responsibilities: - Manage and build collaborative relationships with the firm’s institutional investors including pensions, endowments, foundations, funds-of-funds, family offices and sovereign wealth funds. Act as a key liaison between the firm and its investors.
- Communicate the firm’s value proposition to current and prospective investors.
- Work closely with the firm’s Founders and Managing Directors to develop and implement fundraising strategies across the firm’s family of funds. Focus primarily on fundraising efforts in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
- Lead investor meetings and presentations of H.I.G.’s strategy, investment philosophy, and financial performance.
- Communicate at a fund and company level the firm’s portfolio investment decisions and strategies for growth.
- Partner with U.S. investor relations team to further develop the firm’s global investor relations infrastructure.
Selection Criteria: - Record of outstanding performance in institutional sales, business development, fundraising, and client services.
- Successful track record in developing and managing relationships with sophisticated institutional investors.
- Previous fund, funds-of-funds, or other institutional investment experience with strong understanding of alternative investments.
- Demonstrated knowledge of capital markets, financial performance metrics and financial statements. Outstanding financial acumen and analytical skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, coupled with the ability to communicate complex financial information to diverse audiences.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in accounting, finance or other business-related area), MBA/CPA/CFA/CAIA desirable. Please include a CV and cover letter with your application.
