As part of RBS Coutts’ aggressive growth strategy, we looking to develop our Latin American team substantially and thus have exciting opportunities for a number of exceptional private bankers, to be based in our Geneva office.
These roles will proactively build on our reputation and presence in Latin America, particularly focusing on the growth markets in the Andean region. The combination of the RBS and Coutts brands means that we are able to deliver heritage and quality boutique client service with a truly global reach. Consequently we offer a fully intergrated and comprehensive banking service, targeting the business and personal wealth of high net worth individuals.
Geographic Location Geneva
Tasks You will pro-actively develop new business in Latin America, specifically in relation to the countries of Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela and Colombia. Deliver exceptional client service and sophisticated financial advice to a portfolio of HNW and UHNW individuals. Operate as part of a multi-functional, culturally diverse team. Work closely with Investment Advisors, Investment Consultants and Wealth Planners to deliver a bespoke service to clients.
Skills University education, plus ideally professional qualification ie CFA, CFPI, CIIA etc. Fluent English and Spanish. Excellent communication and proven client management skills. Proactive, ‘can-do’ approach- capable of working with strategic thought and action.
Required Experience Proven experience of working with HNW and UHNW clients with a network focused one or more of the Andean countries. Demonstrable knowledge of the countries and cultures. Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, delivery-focused, driven manner.
Other Requirements To be able to demonstrate a genuine concern for delivering optimum results and service to clients at all times. Have the ability to operate and think independently whilst being a true team player.
Technical Requirements Excellent financial knowledge with the ability to discuss credibly all asset classes and explain complex financial products clearly and transparently to clients.
People Management Aspects Management of a Private Banking Assistant.
Financial Management Requirements Proven experience of working to clearly defined annual revenue targets with the ability to deliver results.
