About the Job The main function of this role will be to drive the successful promotion of the PIMCO ETF product(s) and grow the business. The sales specialists will work collaboratively with our field wholesalers to call on new, as well as established clients and report to the Head of Channel Distribution. The role will require extensive travel, with the home base location to be decided, but preferably near a major metro area. Responsibilities -Build and grow the retail distribution of ETF’s to clients in the US -Create and maintain an extensive contact database of established and new clients -Direct involvement with client service and dialogue -Educate and collaborate with field wholesalers to gain shelf space for product with clients -Work closely with sub-advisor and Retail management on market intelligence, client feedback and business strategy -Provide support on the operations and business development of ETF’s Essential Skills Candidates must have an established track record selling ETF’s in the market, and the ability to hit the ground running. Individuals should be highly motivated, entrepreneurial and show a desire to work in a team environment. -Must have 3-5 years direct ETF sales experience -Strong fixed income product knowledge -An established client base and understanding of the market for their respective region -Proven business development capabilities -Strong relationship management skills, both with internal and external partners -Strong presentation skills -Series 7 and 63 -Team oriented, self motivated, communicative -Ability to work under pressure, balance competing demands
