City Fios assist Senior Front Office Management in Investment Banks in managing their staff and their clients more effectively through our sales tracking tools and services. The Client Delivery Consultant is our key role in delivering technology solutions to our client base.

City Fios is a Financial Services Consultancy founded in 1998 by ex-banking professionals. We work closely with Senior Management in the Securities Industry, helping them to maximise their return on resources, whether it is staff, technology spend, or new business investments.
We provide:
Consultancy services
A sales/client tracking software toolkit (FIOS)
Implementation and Support Services around this toolkit
A Managed Services function for managing and producing sales revenue information for Investment Banks.
We are now hiring for a Client Delivery Consultant to support these services. This function will be based in the City Fios offices in the City and will provide support to multiple clients. The Client Delivery Consultants would also expect to be regular visitors to client sites.
At a high level, the principle responsibilities of this role will be:
Detailed specification and development of enhancements to the FIOS system
Involvement with design, development and testing phase of new FIOS implementations
Analysis and resolution of support issues
Liaison with client staff for co-ordination of enhancement roll-outs and query resolution
Development and maintenance of our in-house technical infrastructure (e.g., servers, PCs, network, VPN links to our clients’ environments).
We are looking for a developer with an interest in developing an understanding of front office management reporting processes in an investment banking environment. We anticipate that this position will appeal to technologists who want to follow a development / project management career path.

Expert knowledge of Excel, and a good working knowledge of Access and Word applications

Experience of ‘best practice’ application support processes (problem identification and resolution, client liaison and communication, etc) would be an advantage
Analyst skills
Experience in the design and development of data migration processes as part of a system implementation project
Experience of writing and delivering presentations, as part of system training or demonstration exercises
Experience in structured system test procedures
Ability to develop and maintain clear and concise documentation to a highly professional standard
Personal attributes
Excellent problem solver: proven ability to analyse problems from first principles as well as from experience, and to identify and implement practical and cost-effective solutions
Ability to deal confidently with client staff at all levels. Confidence to discuss system issues with users of all backgrounds, from technical/operational staff through to senior management
