(Ass) RfP Services Manager Eager graduates looking for a stepping stone into the world of asset management Your department and challenge: The (junior) RfP Services Manager supports and cooperates with business development/relationship management in winning new and additional business from institutional clients globally by answering RfP’s (Request for Proposal) in an accurate, value adding and customer centric way. We present this specific position to young and eager graduates for a minimum period of 2 years as a stepping stone into the world of asset management. Because of international character, the working language is English. The department (7 fte) is closely linked to Business Development Cross Regional & Central Europe supporting the development of third party business in emerging Europe and supporting business development activities performed in Asia and the Americas related to products and solutions maintained in Europe. Your main responsibilities 1. RFP’s: (Assisting in) writing of deal winning proposals for institutional clients globally in close collaboration with sales worldwide. 2. Monitoring of the RFP process: • (Supporting the (senior) RFP Managers) in defining information needs/tasks and responsibilities by conducting an intake with the (internal) client, gathering of needed information, management of deadlines, answering questions, giving feedback to internal client as well as the continuous evaluation of RfP product and process. • Signalling and solving flaws and gaps in the information flows supporting the process and continuously seeking and implementing improvements in process and final product. 3. Cooperation with business developers / sales: • Supporting the RFP Managers in their active search for opportunities to enhance chances of winning new and additional business in close cooperation with business developers/sales. 4. Knowledge management • Gaining knowledge to be able to maintain and transform expertise information (e.g. risk management, compliance and/or products) into commercially usable building blocks thereby supporting and contributing to realising the commercial documentation of ING IM investment products and internal processes in an effective and efficient way. Your experience and skills • HBO (higher vocational education)/Academic • Professional expertise/market focus: demonstrable interest in the world of asset management • Literacy and language skills: good English (preferably native English), writing talent • Performance motivation: eager to learn • Planning and organisational skills • Attention to detail (accuracy) What we have to offer you There is more than an average degree of creativity and entrepreneurship needed to build success in your area of expertise.
