International Trade Finance - China JOB DESCRIPTION Title: Head of Trade – Beijing Branch Unit : Transaction Banking................ Location: Beijing Reporting to: Head of Transaction Banking China.............. Role Purpose: • Drive Beijing trade team to increase wallet share of customer trade business and maximise returns through a high level of customer satisfaction and solution-based advice. • Jointly with relationship teams, target new customers and trade flows consistent with the institutional and Trade Asset Writing Strategies that deliver high value growth within well managed and approved risk parameters. • Increase Beijing’s Revenue, NPAT, customer base and profile within the market, community and the Group. • Build and maintain a high performance team through high levels of staff satisfaction and engagement amongst the trade and wider the team Major Accountabilities/Key Results Areas (KRAs) Measurement based on: 1)45% on financials. Based on budget NPAT and revenue targets, revenue growth, cost management, efficiency improvements and quality of asset growth. 2)25% on Customer. Includes customer acquisition, customer satisfaction, increased wallet share, customer referrals, and facility utilisation and transaction volumes. 3)15% on people. Includes leadership, management and collaboration. 4)15% on process. Includes, maintaining transactions and facilities within approved guidelines and procedures that follow the institutional AWS and trade AWS, approved risk parameters, MIS management, financial management. 5)Well Managed - Operational Risk Management and Compliance Economic and Trade Sanctions Identification of breaches or potential breaches Escalation of issues identified On going compliance to learning and development activities - role and region specific in relations to above 6)Compliance to Trade policy and procedure Zero breaches of Trade policy and procedures without identification and escalation Compliance training activities and records up to date in relation to above Capabilities: 1)Building Relationship & Networks 2)Customer Focus 3)Delivers results 4)Lives the values 5)Lead & inspire Business and Role Dimensions (Circa – defined in PRD document) 1)FTE: 4-6 2)NPAT: ~AUD7M PA 3)Rev: ~AUD15M PA 4)% Cost to Income Ratio: ~50% Decision Making / Recommendations 1)Recommending price and transaction structures 2)Escalation of problems / and or potential problems with transactions 3)Recommendation for service level agreements and business growth opportunities 4) Trade Beijing staffing issues in conjunction with Line Manager Experience/Education Required: 1)Degree in commerce or finance related field 2)Prior experience working in trade finance and banking sales related role 3)Knowledge of trade related regulations including UCP600 and URC522 4)Understanding of PBOC, CBRC and SAFE regulations 5)Understanding of Economic and Trade Sanctions and AML requirements
