Our client is a global brokerage and investment company with a strong presence in the region. With an increasing importance of risk management within organisations, our client is looking for a talented individual to cover their operational risk area for a period of 4 months.

Reporting to the Head of Operational Risk, you will be responsible in assessment of existing risk controls and updating standards within the business. You will be involved in planning and initiating risk control assessments for the next financial year. You will follow up on operational incidents and ensure reporting and remedy are undertaken. You will also be engaged with some tasks related to operational risk management projects.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

• 5 years relevant hands-on experience in Operational Risk Management in a financial company, securities brokerage firm highly preferred
• Basel II Operational Risk framework background
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• High proficiency of English language communication skills, Chinese is a plus
• Available Immediately is a must
