A renowned top tier bank is currently recruiting for a bilingual Japanese/English Liaison Officer to work inside its Coordination & Liaison Division located in the heart of London. This is a year fixed term maternity cover contract.
The essential purpose of the role will be to support with the specific business requirements by collating, reviewing and understanding the needs and also ensuring all activities are documented and explained to relevant divisions and Head Office.
The principal duties will involve:
Making sure all relevant business activities are collated, reviewed and understood and where necessary, modifying and approving these activities. These include but are not limited to compliance, operational risks and administration activities.
Handling enquiries and communications and liaising with relevant divisions.
Checking and updating all relevant Japanese Foreign Exchange Law Inspection data.
Making sure all relevant documents, reports and information from Head Office are circulated.
Looking after facility/building issues including maintenance/ reinstatement works.
Assisting with all relevant aspects of the liaison roles required.
In order to be successful for this role, the ideal candidate will have effective communication skills and will be able to determine effective solutions. Previous exposure in liaison type role will be considered highly advantageous. Due to nature of business bilingual English/Japanese skills including reading and writing is essential.
