ETF Securities has an opportunity for a Senior Structured Products Lawyer to assist in developing the Company’s securities and funds platforms.

Base Salary:                                           Competitive + bonus + equity participation opportunities.

The Job - Responsibilities and job function

  • Project manage the establishment, management and launch of ETC products and, where required, ETF and other products
  • Take responsibility for the ongoing management and development of existing products
  • Assist as appropriate on listing ETC and ETF products on various exchanges
  • Instruction and management of external counsel in multiple jurisdictions
  • General advice and support to the business including sales and marketing teams.

The Applicant - Qualifications and experience

  • 5 to 7 years PQE ideally with exposure to investment banking or asset management background
  • At least four years specific experience in and knowledge of debt securities/securitised products
  • Good knowledge of derivatives and trading documentation
  • Experience of U.S. security structures and issuance a big advantage
  • Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be accurate, attention to detail and enjoy solving problems
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to explain products to people with wide levels of understanding
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines
  • Hard working, Energetic and enthusiastic self starter who thrives in a fast paced environment
  • Mathematical aptitude an advantage but not essential
  • Must have the ability to live and work in the UK, and hold the relevant passport / visa to be able to travel freely within Europe
  • An additional European language an advantage
  • Excellent academic record with a first class bachelor’s degree. Training at a top 20 city law firm (or equivalent)
