The department interfaces directly with the global client base, the sub custodian network, agents and other internal WSS departments. The department is responsible for the capture, analysis and notification to clients of event information and deadlines, reconciliation and execution of client instructions to the market and reconciliation and posting of clients' cash and stock entitlements. Departmental Description: Asset Services TransitionsThe core responsibilities of the Asset Services Transitions team are as follows; Client Transitions - Partnering with New Business teams globally to manage the Asset Servicing impact of on-boarding and exiting clients. This entails identification of all Income and Corporate Events over the transition, providing detailed analysis of these to internal teams, clients and other custodians, joining client calls when required and effective resolution of transition related issues.Agent Transitions - Working with Network Management to effectively manage all aspects of Asset Servicing when JPMorgan changes sub-custodian for the Custody, Clearance and Collateral Management businesses. Acting as the central interface for Corporate Actions, Income, Taxation and Proxy Voting Operations the team work with outgoing and new agents on identifying and analysing all in-flight events, ensuring timely resolution of open issues e.g. claims and reconciliation breaks and setting up static data required for specific Asset Servicing purposes.Clearance and Collateral Asset Servicing - Working with a variety of teams across the Operations, Client Services and Product Management areas of these businesses the Transitions team is jointly responsible for managing static data required to ensure Cosmic and CCMS systems are fully aligned. Whilst this position operates standard hours (9am-5pm), there is a requirement for some overtime and weekend working to meet business deadlines. The group is also expected to cover most UK Bank Holiday to provide support for foreign markets, therefore cover may be required. Role Responsibilities: Analyst - Operational support and control of the daily workflow within the Transition team, ensure all work is delivered within agreed deadlines and cut-offs.
- Represent Transitions team in meetings and calls with internal & external parties.
- Ownership and effective resolution of issues referred to the Transitions team and ensure timely escalation to both Operational and Risk leads.
- Adherence to key team controls, ensure all work is signed-off as required.
- Identify and deliver tangible operational improvements, contribute to the ongoing development of systems used, work across Asset Services Operations, Network and New Business teams to identify opportunities to enhance the client experience and mitigate risks.

- Attest to operational procedures at required intervals and actively comply with ethics and behaviour standards.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience - Knowledge of Global Custody and specifically Asset Services advantageous.
