Job Description: General Summary: The position is responsible for all aspects of product management associated Interactive Data’s fixed income portal. Based in New York City and working as part of the Product Management organization, the position will work with various customer facing, data, technology, and operational teams based in multiple geographic locations. In particular the position will work very closely with Evaluation Services group and the Managed Solutions technology group to facilitate the design, development, support and enhancement of the fixed income portal. The position would suit an experienced fixed income product manager keen to progress their career by bringing together and evolving a wealth of information and technology assets, both proprietary and third party, to provide a market leading portal aimed at servicing the needs of fixed income professionals responsible for portfolio management, asset valuation, performance attribution and research. Qualifications: Key Responsibilities: · Leadership of all aspects of product management associated with a successful fixed income portal · Capture and documentation of business requirements associated with the fixed income portal o External requirements o Internal stakeholders requirements · Prioritization of requirements, effectively balancing the time-to-market versus functional richness conundrum · Go-to-market planning and execution · On going product support and enhancement Required Qualifications: · 5+ years of product management expertise, particularly in the development of fixed · income information services for use by the ‘front-office’ · Demonstrable experience of fixed income trading or performance attribution, preferably gained on a trading desk, in supported of portfolio management, or in a research function · A technical background or significant familiarity with data management and front-end technologies, such as Java, Flash, and PHP · Strong leadership and influencing skills · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills · Degree level education Preferred Qualifications: · Degree in Engineering, Finance, Business or Economics · MBA, CPA or equivalent Interactive Data is an Equal Opportunity Employer Job Keywords: Product Management, Leadership
