The Equity documentation group forms part of OTC Derivatives Operations. It is a group that has rapidly grown over the past 18months and includes processing centres on and off shore. This position offers excellent training opportunities to continuously learn and develop across Equity products.
The two main functions of the team are to draft internal and external legal documentation for London, Hong Kong, Tokyo and New York Trading Desks: and, actively work on projects supporting automation and STP.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure drafting and review of OTC Derivative confirmations for all product types, deal events and regions in a timely manner
Liaison with Traders/Sales and Legal groups regarding new structures
Internal liaison with other areas across Operations including Valuations, Margin, Settlements, Legal and Middle Office
Active project management including specifying/writing Business Requirement Documents, testing and implementation of new templates, systems and system enhancements
Assist in any other initiatives that impact Operations

Knowledge/Experience:
Able to understand the workings of Derivative products
Must be conversant with at least one product's ISDA Derivative Definitions
Template negotiation desirable
