Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate the team to instil and maintain a high quality sales focus and service culture
• Oversee all new business to the team to ensure it fits the bank's strategic initiatives, values and business programmes
• Develop relationships with internal and external referral partners to identify, develop and deliver profitable product offerings
• Manage the relationship of a small portfolio of key clients
• Develop new business according to agreed targets - to include promoting the growth of the bank's established investment management product to appropriate clients

Management Responsibilities

• Participate as active member of bank's leadership team to shape future strategy and business programmes
• Devise systems and procedures that mitigate risk whilst maintaining superior client service standards
• Ensure routine compliance with internal policies and procedures and external regulatory  and best practice standards
• Undertake performance management and competency assessment of direct reports

Required Skills/Attributes

• Proven track record of generating new wealth management business including assets under management, regulated mortgages and deposits
• Extensive private banking experience at team/senior management level
• Ability to help shape strategy and deliver successful results
• Competency in managing teams of relationship bankers
• Effective communication and presentation standards
