Ernst & Young's Financial Services (FS) Tax practice provides tax advisory, transactions and compliance services to a variety of clients in the Financial Services market ranging from some of the world's largest multinational institutions, corporations and funds. We are looking for Managers to work across our Banking & Tax Accounting Risk & Advisory Services teams.
Your client responsibilities:
* Build and maintain tax relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service * Assist in winning work by proactively managing existing clients and contribute to winning new clients. * Manage the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical/business driven approach taken * Be involved in the management of the team both in terms of strategy and operations and also through managing junior staff development and assignments
Qualifications:
* Experienced tax practitioner * Tax audit experience * Banking industry and product knowledge preferred but not essential * Negotiation skills, able to sustain opinion and handle challenges * Team player with ability to create, sustain and lead effective teams * Client driven and strategically and commercially aware * Excellent communicator in a range of situations both written and oral. * Enthusiastic and flexible attitude to work * ACA / CA / Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training course / Law qualification / CTA (or breadth of knowledge equivalent to CTA)
