Our client is a top foreign bank operating in China. They're looking for Trade Advisor to build their trade sales team.

JOB PURPOSE:

-To ensure smooth implementation of each trade program.

-To actively participate in the design and negotiation of new trade deals.

-To expand each the program and deepen client’s wallet share through increasing number of spokes and cross selling TB and bank’s products.

-To initiate new spoke relationship.

-To follow through all stages of implementation including pre-implementation, customization, installation, training and post-implementation review.

-To ensure timely delivery of solution, quality of solution and customer satisfaction of the solutions.

-To work closely with Anchor RMs to develop key client account plans.

-To develop and manage cross boarder programs with the various stakeholders of the bank.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / CHALLENGES:

-Participate in the design and negotiation of new trade deals.

-Follow through all stages of implementation including pre-implementation, customization, installation, training and post-implementation review.

-Follow up with Spokes RMs to ensure the expected turnaround time is met. To identify and resolve problems involving all stages of the implementation.

-Manage the portfolio of Anchors and Spokes utilization.

-Cross sell all TB and banks products and services and to initiate new relationship with Spokes to maximize wallet chare for each program.

-Ensure compliance with Bank's policy and to ensure that Bank's policy breaches are properly authorised at the correct senior approving level.

-Work with Local Product and Legal & Compliance in designing new solutions, based on client feedback and market developments

-Ensuring Money Laundering Prevention Policy and Customer Due Diligence procedures are thoroughly understood and adhered to.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

- Bachelor degree. MBA is a plus

-Solid banking experience, preferable as Trade sales.

-In depth knowledge and working experience of Trade, Supply Chain products is a plus.

-Fluent written and spoken English

-Experience of direct negotiations with customers, and a professional, confident manner.

-Good analytical and inter-personal skills, and ability to interpret customer needs.

-Demonstrated competency in managing the changing needs of a diverse and demanding customer base with an increasing competitive business environment.

-Strong Project management ability and deal team mindset, with strong organizational skills.

-Excellent oral, presentation and written communication skills.

-Team player with the ability to interact with other staff at all levels across geographic locations and functions.

-Strong cross-cultural awareness with influencing skills.

-Ability to prioritize a diverse workload.

-Ability to solve problems and identify and implement solutions for multiple internal/external customers.
