Our client is urgently seeking Senior Trust Officers / Managers for their office in Bermuda. The position reports to the AVP and is responsible for a more complex portfolio of Trust and Companies. Includes assisting with the supervision of Trust Administration employees. Responsibilities: Maximise and develop client relationship potential. Authorise and commit the Trust Company on various transactions. Maintain vigilant knowledge of operational risk and identify potential problems to managers and employees. Ensure Trust provisions, Bank policies/procedures and relevant legislation are adhered to at all times. Proactively contact clients, resolve their concerns, refer complex issues to management. Organise meetings with principles and beneficiaries. Provide advice and experience to support staff and ensure the team expedites assigned tasks within established deadlines. Assist with the management and development of employees including performance appraisals. Experience: Bachelors degree with 7 years relevant experience in Trust Administration, Law, Accountancy, Investments or Banking would be an asset. STEP designation or equivalent professional qualification. Good knowledge of banking principles and procedures. Able to understand/interpret trust deeds, wills, bye-laws and other off shore Company Legislations. Superior client service, interpersonal, communication, team, problem-solving, administrative and organisation skills.
