A Joint Venture Team manager is required to join a leading upstream business employing over 4000 people across 50 countries. Reporting to the Finance director your primary purpose will be to manage accounting, budgeting, reporting and partner relationships for joint ventures.
A Joint Venture Team manager is required to join a leading upstream business employing over 4000 people across 50 countries. Reporting to the Finance director your primary purpose will be to manage accounting, budgeting, reporting and partner relationships for joint ventures. Supervising a team of 4 joint venture accountants you will ensure accurate and timely accounting for operated and non operated ventures, coordinate preparation of JV budgets for operated assets, coordinate partner approvals and ensure corporate approval. Review non operated joint venture budgets and AFE's prior to approval by asset managers. Producing accurate and timely asset management reports. Coordinate JV audits and lease with operators and JV partners. Ensuring compliance with reporting and accounting. You will also be involved with ad-hoc projects.
The ideal applicant must have at least 5 years experience in the upstream oil and gas industry with specific joint venture accounting experience.
