The EMEA accounting organization is looking for an Accountant to perform all fixed assets (FA) related activities for all EMEA countries. The EMEA accounting organization is part of the Shared Financial Services center for the EMEA timezone. Main goal of the organization is to add efficiency and quality to the accounting processes in EMEA.

Job Description

• Process fixed asser transactions for 30+ Legal Companies (50% of time);
• Reconcile all fixed assets accounts;
• FA-ledger quality improvement;
• Timezone contact for FA-process and deliverables;
• Financial GL Close support (Data collection, GL reporting);
• SOX compliance (internal control);
• FA-process improvement with controlpoints/reports;
• Assisting EMEA HUB manager with consolidating and coordinating accounting activities (spreadsheet execution);
• Converting reports in old reporting tool (Brio) into the new reporting tool (Discoverer and Excel).

Experience/Skills

• Economic/accounting education or working level;
• Experience in international environment (English);
• Strong user of automated financial applications (Excel);
• 5 years plus experience in finance;
• Strong administrative skills/Accurate;
• Service minded, Enthousiastic and Driven.
