An exciting opportunity has arisen to join UBS as a Product Specialist - Private Equity

UBS's wealth management business caters to high net worth and affluent individuals around the world (except those served by Wealth Management Americas) whether they are investing internationally or in their home country. UBS offers these clients a complete range of tailored advice and investment services. Its Swiss Bank business provides a complete set of banking services for Swiss individual and corporate clients.

Our business area Products & Services (P&S) provides our client advisors with high quality and tailor-made solutions. P&S Consulting is a business sector committed to provide comprehensive investment solutions to match our client's needs, objectives and expectations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with Client Advisors, providing advice on investment solutions.

Key tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Prime Client Advisor (CA) point of entry for providing investment advice on Private Equity and actively supporting CA's in end client meetings and presentations. Managing & developing CA relationships, and providing hands-on support to CA's in navigating and understanding the Investment Solutions Private Equity (IS PE) product shelf of UBS Wealth Management
  • Working with desk heads and CA's to support them in developing their overall book of business and providing after sales support to CA's and end clients
  • Executing internal and external education, marketing events, road shows etc. relating to the Private Equity asset class offered by UBS Wealth Management
  • Act as feedback loop for CAs towards Product Development/Managers
  • Work directly with the Product Manager IS PE to shape the overall Private Equity offering for the Asia region

Requirements:

Our ideal candidates should have the following requisites:

  • Highly experienced, proactive, independent and reliable sales person with a minimum of 5 years experience in the financial services industry, preferably in Private Equity advisory/ research or asset management, in the international and domestic Private Banking market
  • Analytical and conceptual skills of the financial market fundamentals
  • Know-how and experience in sales & marketing in the financial industry
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills, overall an excellent communicator
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin required, other Asian languages are a definite plus
