My client, a company that provide products and services to institutional investors, are looking for two individuals with solid client management and business development ability. One will have extensive experience managing pension funds, and the other role will be either pension and/or fund manager focused.
The company has developed an analytical and benchmarking product that actually allows investors to measure, benchmark, and more effectively manage their custodians and fund administrators. Due to the success over the last seven years, this organization now has 80 institutional investors that use their services, and they are looking to expand.
The role will entail the establishing of client relationships and interpreting and advising clients on the results of analysis. The right candidate will be able to handle multiples of client relationships and be able to act as the main advisor and interpreter for the service. The majority of the role will be home based and would require meeting the clients at their office locations; ideally every client will be met at their offices once a quarter. The client manager will also manage the formal custodian selection process for the client.
The ideal candidate will have a proven sales or relationship management record specifically within the Investor services group of a custodian bank. As mentioned, for one role, experience of managing pension funds is a must, and for the second the focus will be pension or fund manager focused. Also of interest will be knowledge of pension funds and other institutional investors in continental European markets. This is an extremely well renumerated role, with a competitive basic and performance related bonus.
