Our client is a prime PRC investment bank.

The Job:

• Present investment strategies and advise on asset allocations.
• Build up the portfolio of both traditional and hedge fund investments for the company.
• Formule investment strategy, integrate investment ideas, develop strategic advice and investment  recommendations, asset allocation, fund managers selection and risk management.
• Analyse macroeconomic and market development in the financial market, evaluate the impact of global industry trends, risk/return analysis and possible investment opportunities across all asset classes and the competitive landscape, seeking investment opportunities, performing due diligence on fund managers over different countries.
• Monitor and review asset allocation and recommend portfolio rebalancing. 
• Manage and liquidate the existing equities portfolio, including investments in equities, hedge fund and private equities, Pre-IPO's and alternative investments; also includes of long/short equities, macro, risk arbitrage, distressed securities and convertible arbitrage.
• Perform due diligence and prepare investment proposal for investment committee, including ad hoc report.
• Regular review of the investment guidelines and risk monitoring procedures

The requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Portfolio Manager on hedge fund and or alternative investment management.
• Holder of a good degree in business discipline and professional qualification.
• Excellent command of Putonghua and English.
