This Swiss leading asset management firm (Fund of Hedge Funds) headquartered in Geneva, is looking to appoint a senior “Due Diligence specialist”. Working alongside the portfolio managers and the operations team, the successful candidate will lead financial and operational assesment of hedge funds managers.
Role
As a senior manager you are responsible for ensuring the evaluation of hedge funds managers with a primary focus on finance, structural and operational risks.
• Conduct via onsite visits adhoc and ongoing qualification of HF managers and report to the investment committee
• Develop Due diligence processes and tools; evaluate the risk management framework and internal risk limits, and reviewprocedures and controls at service providers.
• Monitor approved funds and maintain best of breed operational processes and maintain risks under control
Your function combines operational activities, as well as delivering advices and promoting the practice within the firm.
Profile :
Strong practical knowledge of Hedge Funds, for example as a senior auditor in a Big 4 or as a Due diligence manager
University degree, advanced skillset in Finance and accounting; CFA a plus
Very good / practical knowledge of international regulations and hedge funds operations
Outstanding interpersonal communication skills, ability to cope with a dynamic and challenging environment, available for travelling, English native or fluent
The successful candidate will report directly to the general management and have a seat in the Investment Committee.
