Reporting to the Regional Head of Operational Risks Management in Hong Kong and the Chief Administrative Officer in Singapore, in your role as the Operational Risk (OR) Manager, you provide :
1. Operational Risk Management (ORM) - Coordinate and assist all business units on the implementation/updates of their permanent supervision (PS) programmes - Coordinate and supervise the usage of PS reporting tool and the implementation of new controls when needed; also provide monthly tracking report to Management - Coordinate and implement new Head Office OR tools - Co-ordinate with other ORMs teams in the business units (Operations, Product Control Group, etc)
2. Business Continuity Management (BCM) - With the support of the Regional BCM team, assist Heads of Departments in devising effective recovery procedures - Coordinate, in liaison with IT Dept, the annual BCP test drill; assist in regional and global test drills - Perform Business Impact Analysis in line with Head Office templates and methodology - Maintain the BCP database, in particular contacts lists and call tree - Participates in Regional projects to enhance BCM set-up
3. Operational Risk related projects assigned by local or regional management - Contribution to the Regional Operational Risk reporting - Implementation of actions requiring the input of the Operational Risks Managers of the regional Departments based in the Singapore hub (Product Control Group, Operations)
Job Requirement :
Knowledge of Corporate and Investment Banking processes
PC knowledge
Good communication skills
Project management skills
Experience in or understanding of operational risk management
Experience in or understanding in Basel 2 regulatory framework; and/or Sarbanes Oxley implementation experience
Tertiary education in banking, accounting or business administration
Banking and auditing or financial consulting experience preferred
