Manager CFO Advisory Practice - Financial Services Our client, a global leader in management consulting and advisory services, is seeking an accomplished consulting senior manager with experience in business process / business performance improvement projects and initiatives for finance, controllers and CFO functions for Finacial Services Institutions (Banks, Asset Managers, Insurance). The CFO Advisory Practice delivers a wide range of support to the CFO and the finance function, ranging from strategy setting and initiative prioritization to tactical initiative management and delivery. Successful candidates will have significant experience in the following areas: - Finance Transformation Strategy and Execution
- Performance Measurement and Dash-Boarding
- Financial Close and Consolidation/Financial Reporting
- Planning and Forecasting
- Activity Based Costing/Activity Based Management
- Shared Services
- Finance Function Leading Practices and Benchmarking
- Business and Financial Transactions (mergers, business integrations, spin-off, etc.)
- Finance Operations, including: Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Treasury
Managers direct large scale consulting project teams in the design and implementation of custom, technology enabled business solutions. These teams function as integrators between business needs and technology solutions and are responsible for defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementation. Managers are responsible for managing and mentoring senior staff , developing and maintaining positive, productive working relationships with management counterparts at clients, aggressively pursuing new business opportunities and positively contributing to the development of the practice’s consulting offering. Requirements: 7-10+ years of relevant industry, professional services (Big 4) or management consulting experience with a significant background in managing multiple large scale, mission-critical, projects and initiatives focused in improving process and performance for functions within the CFO’s department of a major financial services institution.
