Qualified Accountant required to join international company with significant European presence seeks to hire an Internal Auditor. Role will include c. 30% travel from Dublin to Europe.
The Challenge
Our client is a high profile international institution, this role, based in Dublin will report directly to the Chairperson of the Audit Committee with a dotted line to the CFO. The role provides an excellent opportunity to progress within the Company.
Plan and successfully perform financial, operational, and process audits
Work and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
Provide recommendations related to internal control best practices
Identify process improvement opportunities within the operational/financial areas
Prepare Quarterly Audit Committee Papers
Follow up on previous audit finding
Role will include considerable interaction with both the country FC's and MD's and the candidate will be expected to provide direction in relation to internal control and monthly reporting both locally and centrally. There will also be interaction with IT managers in each country.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be currently working in an Internal Audit capacity (min. 3 yrs), ideally a qualified accountant, candidate will have excellent report writing and presentation skills. Given the international status of the company, candidate will be required to travel to European locations (c. 30%).
The Client
Our client provides services in several European countries with Head Office in Dublin South.
The Compensation
Remuneration package will be attractive to include a basic of c.60k + package.
