Our client is a global reputable financial service provider and it offers a full services category of credit rating, index and risk solutions to an extensive group of FI and Corp clients globally.

Risk Solutions, Associate Director to Director
Responsibilities:

Responsible for supporting the senior relationship manager in managing overall client relationships. Risk Solutions sales force is organized to emphasize a team sales culture.

Relationship managers may call upon product and solutions specialists to assist in presenting products, benefits, and solutions to prospective clients. As an Associate Director/Director, you will be expected to find new prospective clients, direct sales specialists, and manage sales cycles to closure as well as aid in retention of existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
-Grow relationships covering a defined territory and base of business
-Convey the Risk Solutions value proposition, and deliver on sales targets for both new and recurring revenue through combination of:
- Prospecting for new clients
- Selling additional services to existing clients
- Selling new products
- Re-enforce value proposition to retain and grow client relationships
- Significant meeting activity
- Leading, advancing, and negotiating sales to closing
- Maintain high level of product knowledge
-Help Senior Relationship Manager to gain and maintain familiarity with client organization and processes to help direct them towards the appropriate Risk Solutions’ product set
-Manage sales cycles using coordination and communication skills to involve sales specialist and Senior Relationship Manager where appropriate
-Provide current forecasts and pipeline information to management
-Introduce leads to other business units where appropriate


Experience

* Must have prior experience of working within or selling into capital markets. Experience in selling financial software would also be preferred.
* Sales and/or relationship management experience is required, preferably within the financial services sector.
* Proven track record of sales capability.
* A credit background would be preferred, but is not essential.
* Solid demonstrated understanding of the banking industry.
* Ability to sell on a needs/solutions approach.
* Ability to close deals effectively.
* Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, yet integrate appropriately with the team and other areas within Risk Solutions.
* Strong interpersonal/relationship building skills and able to successfully manage multiple client relationships.
* Strong negotiation skills and able to influence key decision makers during the 360º sales process.
* High level of commitment.
* Highly organized and good time management skills.
* Must have the motivation and ability to excel in an intense, high energy, selling environment.
* Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels, with both internal and external parties.
* Familiar with modern computer applications (MS Office, Internet).
