As part of the continued growth in their Structured Trade and Export Finance business, an opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director to join the team of a leading franchise in both the local and international markets.
This successful candidate will be involved in the origination, structuring and negotiation of market leading Structured Trade Finance transactions across Australia and New Zealand
Responsibilities
Build strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, in particular in the commodity sector and natural resources
Responsibility for execution of transactions including, credit memos, financial modelling, due diligence and loan documentation
Portfolio and risk management of book through regular contact with customers
Mentor and coach more junior members of the team
Requirements
Banking experience of 7 -10 years with relevant investment banking experience of 4-5 years
Experienced in executing cross border transactions in the project finance, structured trade finance or asset finance. Experience in resources project finance is of particular interest
Excellent documentation experience including syndicated deals
Experience with Credit, lending products and portfolio management
