Our client is a global investment bank and due to growth, they are keen to take on a Product Controller at an entry level to join their Credit and Equity Trading business unit.
Responsibilities:
Assist in budget forecasting, balance sheet reviews and business planning
Analyse P&L movements, compile trading commentary on P&L for senior leadership and initiate inter-divisional P&L transfers
Review all cost expenditures including brokerage, clearing, exchange, market data, technology, etc.
Coordinate trading business issues across multiple Federation teams, including Technology, Strategists, Operations, Compliance
Ad hoc analysis and reporting to support trading management decision-making
Candidate requirements:
Candidates with at least 6months product control experience within Credit and Equity products preferred
Candidates currently studying for a professional accounting qualification with relevant banking experience will also be considered
You must be self-motivated with strong interpersonal / communication skills
Have the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
Analytical with strong Excel skills (macros and above)
Good attention to detail
Commercial & professional with the ability to proactively provide creative solutions
You must be comfortable working in a trading floor environment
