Based in the CBD, this prestigious global financial services organisation has a rare opportunity for an experienced Credit Analyst to join their Melbourne team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Analysing a portfolio financial institutions and insurance companies in Australia and New Zealand

• Writing media releases and credit reports for publication

• Demonstrating influence and opinion in rating committees

• Completing additional projects as directed.

To succeed in this role you will have analysis experience in banking, credit, treasury or insurance, with a strong understanding of the finance industry risk factors and trends.

You will have a tertiary qualification in finance and post grad qualifications are desirable. You will work in small project teams, so strong communication skills are paramount as is the ability to communicate effectively - verbally and in written reports. Influencing skills and the ability to form well thought out recommendations are essential - both for your high calibre colleagues and senior client relationships. Presentation skills are highly desirable.
