Our client, a leading global investment bank is looking for an experienced developer with strong interest in working with front office trading desk users.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build global solutions to cater to the dynamic nature of the business. Aside from specific business–driven initiatives, our main objective is to design and develop a common and scalable infrastructure for physical commodities.
• Actively participate in the on-going improvement of our platform through on-going enhancements to satisfy either user requirements or technology self-initiated remediation initiatives.
• Provide application support to the desk (Trading and Sales) as well as to Operations and Controllers.

SKILL / EXPERIENCE

• Strong programming skills in one or more procedural/object oriented languages (C/C++, Objective C, .NET, Java, Smalltalk) required
• Solid analytical skills
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl or javascript is a plus
• Experience working on Windows and Linux/Unix
• Genuine interest in building relationship with the trading desk business users and providing support
• Outgoing personality, with excellent communication skills and strong motivation
• Strong delivery, self-starter, open to both development and support work
