Who we are

Optiver is a rapidly growing proprietary trading firm, with offices in Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific. We focus on electronic market making and arbitrage activities in a wide variety of products including derivatives, stocks and bonds.  We trade with our own capital and at our own risk.

Our business covers 5 continents, 20 countries and each of the world’s major economic time zones. With more than 500 employees worldwide, our culture is one of our most valuable resources: we are professional, strongly results-driven, open and informal, team-based, ambitious and flexible.

Although market making and arbitrage are our core activities, we rely heavily on our IT expertise and excellent Business Operations support in order to achieve the highest success with the lowest risk possible.
