The IT auditor performs IT audits within Optiver Europe and assists the current Audit Manager of Optiver Europe.
What you'll do
The IT auditor also plays a supporting role within the IT related aspects of the ERM framework. Given the relatively limited size of the company, the IT auditor should also perform non IT related activities. The following points are an indication of the specific tasks and responsibilities:
Risk based planning of IT audits;
Performing audits and assessments on General Computer Controls;
Performing audits and assessments on Application Controls;
Assist in the execution of audits to test the operating effectiveness of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework;
Present and discuss audit findings with Senior Management;
Ensure adequate follow-up of audit findings;
Conduct special investigations and assignments;
Liaise and cooperate with auditors in other subsidiaries of Optiver;
Liaise and cooperate with the External Auditor;
Promote and enhance (IT) risk awareness within the firm.
What we need
The desired IT auditor should have the following profile:
Academic degree in an IT related education or Business Administration;
Completed or finishing Post graduate course in IT auditing (Registered EDP/RE auditor) or a comparable international equivalent (e.g. Certified Information Systems Auditor – CISA);
Minimum of 4 years experience in external or internal audit, Information Security and IT Governance;
Preferably experience in Trading, Banking or Financial Services Industry;
Excellent analytical, reporting and interpersonal skills;
Excellent communicator;
Fluent in English;
Audit professional in fact and appearance;
Team Player;
Being proactive and willing to take ownership and look beyond boundaries.
