To grow the business more agressively they are looking to hire a Head of Asset management to lead the business and develop innovative new products for the market.

This person will sit at a senior level reporting directly to the CEO, and will have responsibility for managing the asset management business.

Responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing investment strategy and decisions
• Overall leadership and ownership of the asset management function
• Lead idea generation
• Direct research activities to keep track of trends in the industry, evaluation and selection of investment vehicles
• Member of the investment committee

Skills required:

• CFA
• 8-10+ years in the financial services industry including portfolio management
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• MBA preferred

The successful applicants background should include significant history as a fund manager managing assets.  Strong quant and modelling skills essential, GCC regional experience and good knowledge of the GCC customer base preferable

This person must be a team player who is prepared to take on additional responsibility as necessary.
