Working in a small team, we are looking for an experienced Income Processor to be able to handle the day-to-day process; client queries; reporting requirements and provide support to the team leader.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
Take day-to-day responsibility for all aspects of income processing: event creation/verification, accruals, reconciliation, settlement, and claims
Produce group MIS detailing risk exceptions and productivity
Updated centralised Operational Risk database and provide commentary around exceptions
Contribute to process and procedural improvement
Produce and maintain procedure documentation
Develop effective working relationships with colleagues in other parts of Operations and other business areas; including attending meetings with internal clients and operations management
Skills required:
Understanding of security trade flows and impact on Income processing
High standard of communication; ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients
Understanding of risks involved in the role and the ability to escalate issues appropriately
Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
Experience of MS Office to an intermediate standard, especially Excel, PowerPoint.
Experience required:
Substantial experience within Asset Servicing in a broker/dealer or Prime Finance environment
Exceptional candidates with other related Operations experience will be considered
