As pary of a collegiate team you will be responsible for: * Maintaining matrix that represents detailed parameters used by Fixed Income. * Establishing and carrying out the checks where the central Product Control team has verification responsibility. This includes implementing appropriate processes, reviewing exceptions and advising corrections. * Liaising with groups affected by changes and establish relationships. * Contributing to the evolution of the verification processes used throughout Fixed Income Operations. * Advising P&L Managers and Analysts on the implications of existing standards. * Participating in projects sponsored by Product Control to enhance the P&L control environment. * Training P&L Analysts in the use of new and revised P&L preparation & control tools Skills and Qualifications * Strong understanding of a range of Fixed Income products (interest rate, FX and credit) and their associated risk sensitivities * The ability to discuss and resolve pricing and P&L issues with traders and market risk specialists is essential * Experience of carrying out and discussing independent price verification of Fixed Income parameters is essential * Good numerical / mathematical skills. The ability to understand and apply p&l preparation methodologies, including curve construction and valuation models, is essential * Excellent project & process planning skills with good communication and analysis skills.
