Integration Services is a resource to provide onsite support for Bloomberg Data products, including B-Pipe, Container, API and Platform, with future plans to include trading applications support. The successful candidate will be assigned to specific client projects, primarily directed by the client. Work will include
Integration Services is a resource to provide onsite support for Bloomberg Data products, including B-Pipe, Container, API and Platform, with future plans to include trading applications support. The successful candidate will be assigned to specific client projects, primarily directed by the client. Work will include migrating existing client market data applications to Bloomberg data products, developing new applications (based on client specifications), and supporting testing and QA efforts. You must be familiar with market data applications, data schema's and naming conventions (symbology), as well as performance tuning for these applications, and have the ability to focus on specific problems/tasks within existing code. You must be open to frequent travel and onsite work.
Qualifications
- RMDS RFA/SFC experience is essential - Solid development experience is essential, C++ is the preference but we would consider any of the following languages; C++/C/C#/Java - Experience of high performance market data application development (low latency, high volumes, etc.)
Other desirable skills include:
- Other Middleware technology understanding - Data migration experience - Experience with 3rd party applications, e.g. Charles River, Sophis.
