Requirements
Strong academic background, preferably with a focus in Software, Engineering, Science or Mathematics
Experience with Java, Unix, Networking, version management systems
Interest in financial markets
Fluent in English, with Dutch as a strong advantage
1-3 years of experience with Java, Unix
Strong affinity or experience in financial markets

Service-minded, willing to help out wherever help is needed

Your responsibilities will include
Developing in-house applications for automated trading, risk management and back office
Working in all phases of a rapid product development lifecycle
Frequent interaction with all aspects of product development
Description At Flow Traders software developers are responsible for developing software that automates the trading process, from front office to back office. Most of development takes place using Java, to a lesser degree C or C++. We’ve developed our own state of the art framework for accessing and trading markets all over the world. Working in the fast changing trading world will require you to maintain a constant balance between pragmatism and a focus on long term sustainable solutions. You’ll be working in a demanding environment with plenty of challenges and accompanying rewards.
