This is an opportunity to work with iShares: the world’s most comprehensive family of exchange traded products with more than 190 exchange traded funds and exchange traded notes offered globally. The primary target audience will be RIAs including large asset managers and wealth managers. Job Responsibilities The BDA serves as the central point of contact for the team. As a member of the team, a BDA will actively participate in the business management and territory planning with the Business Development Officer (BDO) and Regional Sales Associate (RSA). - Ability to speak in front of a customer group and field questions and objections - Ability to perform joint and solo travel delivering successful results (in-person meetings and conference attendance) - Ability to provide comprehensive and customized data analysis - Exceed the minimum activity standards - Successfully use the telephone for lead identification, follow-up activity, client profiling, setting up meetings, and sales execution - Work closely with team, BDO and RSA, to develop and execute a comprehensive sales approach to a geographic territory - Develop, grow and maintain advisor relationships with a specified segment of the territory’s advisors - Develop and leverage key internal relationships to aid in providing solutions to advisors - Use creative thinking to target clients and to develop effective business plans, sales processes and sales ideas - Deliver educational sales presentations over the telephone on exchange traded funds - Manage day-to-day operational duties (i.e. manage and track sales lead flow, manage and maintain existing and prospect client databases, report weekly activities and accomplishments, etc. ) Qualifications - BA/BS degree required - 3+ years of experience in mutual fund or brokerage industry - NASD Series 7, and 63 or 65 required - Ability to develop relationships with advisors and position investment ideas and other value-add services generating sales and assets - High energy, motivated individual, committed to excellence - Strong phone selling skills - Solid presentation skills both on the phone and in-person - Ability to work in a team environment - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - Solid MS Office skills, including: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
