Primary Objective is to act as relationship manager for the execution/advisory light business at a senior level (potentially co-head), where assets under management are in excess of $4bln. Being successful in the role will include, but is not limited to, developing a detailed understanding of: CLIENT HANDLING Understanding the clients’ requirements, from a risk/return perspective, liquidity constraints etc. Foreign exchange/Leverage Account opening - Account closing - Preparing client facilities - Answering ad hoc queries - Problem/complaint handling - Developing an understanding of The tools used in new business generated (e.g. Portfolio simulations) - Working with other Relationship Managers to understand the tools and information that we provide to our clients. - Developing enhancements to the existing processes used. TRADING Overseeing client reporting - Trading and execution - Monitoring client portfolios - Liaising with counterparties and credit department The candidate will have an important and integral role in driving the development of the execution team. They will be expected to liaise as appropriate with the administrative teams responsible for producing client reporting. It is imperative that the candidate has a very pro-active approach to manage a key part of the bank’s business. A strong, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills is an essential requirement for the position with a sound knowledge of the financial industry specifically including hedge funds as well as solid operational skills. It is expected that the successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years’ hedge fund experience, ideally gained within an operational environment, coupled with excellent client handling and marketing skills at the highest level. First degree, IMC/CFA/MBA all desirable.
